Some partners may want alternative ways to advertise your offer than a tracking link. Or they may want to better highlight the discounts on your shop to entice customers. For these reasons, we have released Coupon Codes!
How it Works
Coupon Codes are currently only available for brands who have integrated their store to Shopify using the Squaredance app.
The Squaredance app will essentially pull into the Squaredance platform, all available PriceRules/Coupons you have created within that Shopify Storefront.
After all coupons are pulled, you will then be able to choose which exact coupon you want to make available to partners on Squaredance. Please note that, once you make the coupon available, it is public for all partners, and all partners will be able to generate a code to utilize that PriceRule/Coupon.
Again, here are the requirements to use Coupon Codes.
- Coupon codes are currently only available for brands who have integrated their store to Shopify using the Squaredance app.
- You need to have existing PriceRules/coupons on shopify that our app can retrieve.
To set up Coupon Codes, follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Import All Coupons
Goto to the campaign you currently have coupons on Shopify. Goto the Funnels tab of this campaign. From there, click on Import Coupons.
Step 2: Select Coupons
Then it will take you to the Import a Coupon flow. This is where you select the shopify storefront you want to pull the existing coupons from. Then you can select the exact coupon you want to make available to partners. You can also set the payout for this specific coupon, which will allow you to override the existing payout if the customer converts using this coupon.
Step 3: View and Manage Coupons
Once the coupon of your choice has been imported into Squaredance, it should be viewable under Coupons tab.
This is where you can also manage the codes partners have created to utilize this coupon, by clicking on Manage Codes
To also help you manage codes efficiently, we have provided 2 types of notifications, 1 general and 1 chat. This was done to promptly inform you when a partner has created a code for a coupon.
Within the chat notification, you can also revoke the code directly.
