If the Shopify store is using Recharge to manage subscriptions, the Jumbleberry pixels will be required to be placed on Recharge's checkout settings. This article will outline the steps required to integrate pixels with the Recharge plugin.
Configuring the Purchase Pixel
Get the purchase pixel from the Funnel Setup section of step 4 of the campaign setup process and use {{ order_number }} as the value of transaction_id and {{ subtotal_price }} as the value of order_value.
Purchase Pixel Placement
- Open the Shopify dashboard and click Apps in the sidebar and click on Recurring Billing by Recharge
- Click on Storefront and then click on Checkout and paste the configured purchase pixel in the Thank you page field. Click Save.
Initiate Checkout Pixel
By default, the Recharge doesn't allow the placement of Javascript on the first page of the Recharge checkout. The brand needs to contact Recharge's support and ask them to activate this field for the account.
Once activated, a new field will appear under the checkout settings page which allows the brand to place Javascript on the first page of Recharge checkout.
Generate the Initiate Checkout pixel and paste it in this field without the <script type="text/javascript"> </script> tags.
