This article is a step-by-step guide to connecting your Shopify storefront and Squaredance account via the Shopify Integration!

The Shopify integration means that brands with a Shopify storefront can download the Squaredance app to their account, and the app will automatically inject the pixel into theme.liquid on their Shopify storefront. The injection is one dynamic pixel that is responsible for lead, purchase, and any other events chosen within the Shopify storefront.

This eliminates the need to manually place pixels. This also means that connection between platforms is much easier; for instance, you can assign products to your campaign directly from their Shopify storefront- and can assign multiple products per campaign.

Step 1: Campaign Details

Input the details of your campaign; name, description, URL, and relevant verticals:

Follow the prompts to install the Squaredance app onto your Shopify account:

If you have already connected your Shopify storefront to your Squaredance account, you will be prompted to select the storefront. This will make the SKUs in your storefront available for inclusion in the campaign:

Step 3: Amazon Setup

Skip this step!

Step 4: Select Products

Provide details about each SKU, or review existing details.

Step 5: General Info

Select thumbnail for the product, weekly cap (if any), special shipping info, promo offers

Setup 6: Audience Restrictions

Prohibited channels and traffic, access languages and countries

You can outline what is considered prohibited traffic on your campaign by customizing the partner application, as well, so that partners must agree that they understand which channel and traffic types are prohibited before applying to your campaign.

Step 7: Upload Assets

All creatives are to be housed in the same cloud service, Box, for partners to access

Step 9: Landing Page & Funnel Setup

Select the funnel type as “Shopify funnel”; this will engage the one dynamic pixel that is responsible for lead, purchase, and any other events chosen within the Shopify storefront.

Toggle “Using Shopify for Checkout?” to “ON” and provide the landing page URL.

Now that everything is in place, it’s time to test the dynamic pixel to ensure that the funnel works. It is required that a real purchase be made to test the funnel, with either a credit card, test card, or discount code as dictated by the brand. You will see the pixels on this page change to green or red to indicate whether they have fired, but we highly recommend using the Squaredance Pixel Helper extension to assist.

Step 10: Review

Congratulations! Your campaign is ready to be published. Please review the details you’ve worked hard to get just right before you publish publicly.
