Tracking ChangelogTesting Links
The Squaredance Pixel Helper should be your starting point when testing your links’ tracking.
The Squaredance Pixel Helper is a Chrome extension added to your chrome browser that can check the Squaredance events that are set up along a campaign funnel. This tool will help you understand the events that we have placed, so that you can verify if your pixels placed in the platform are firing the event you wish to capture. In order for the events to log correctly, you'll need to copy and paste your unique tracking link from the funnels tab in your campaign.
Installing SQD Pixel Helper and other Solutions
It is highly recommended that you install our Pixel Helper as well as Facebook and Google Tag Assistant. These tools will help you to verify whether the pixels you placed in our platform are firing correctly and to ensure you are tracking events you wish to capture on Facebook, Google or etc.
Step 1 - Install your Chrome Extensions
Other Ad and Social platforms such as: FB, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Outbrain, Pinterest, etc. have their own pixel helper extensions that you can install for Chrome.
Step 2 - Enable the Extensions to work in Incognito Mode
Step 3 - Use Incognito Mode to Test Funnels
We recommend when testing your funnels to do them in incognito mode to avoid any prior cookies, caches, or sessions from interfering with your test. This will allow you to run a "first vist" which should allow you to test your events without any errors. If you run into any issues, you may be cached by your IP address, so you'll need to use a VPN to test the offer using a different or unique IP Address.
Testing a Squaredance Funnel
You can then test your funnel and view the events fire in the SQD Pixel Helper and your Ad Platform Pixel helper to ensure the events are tracking correctly. Follow the steps shown in the video below.
