The Squaredance referral program is a new way for you to earn more commission when you refer brand new Squaredance or advertisers to the platform. Read below to learn how it works and how much you can earn from referrals.

How Does the Referral Program Work

Every time you refer a new user — a partner or brand account — to the Squaredance platform, you open the door to an ongoing commission. If your referral creates an organization with us and begins to make sales, you receive a 1% commission per sale for one whole year.

How Much You Can Earn from Referrals

Your commission is dependent on sales made by your referral, but if you remain in good standing with us, you’ll get a payout every time you go over the $1,000 commission mark. Now that's an appealing offer!

When Can a Brand begin Referring?

You must have at least one active campaign in order to access your Referral profile and settings.

How To Set Up Your Referral Account

Step 1

To begin, go to settings, which is available on your sidebar. Among the tabs that appear on the Settings page, click on the Referrals tab.

Step 2

You'll then be required to register for a Tiplati account in order to participate in the referral program. You can find further instructions about Tipalti here.

Even if you've already registered for Tipalti on your main affiliate org, you'll need to do this again, as referral accounts are specific to a user and should not mix with the main affiliate account.

Step 3

On your referrals homepage, you can copy your unique referral link. In order to receive referral commission, your referrers must use this link to sign-up in order to attribute the commissions generated from their earnings to your account!

Viewing Commission Reports

Once your referrer has registered their account and is successfully generating revenue on the Squaredance platform, you'll be able to view the users you registered and the amount earned.

You can click on view payment history which will direct you to your Tiplati payment history to view the history of commissions paid out to you.

Manage or Edit Payment Details

If you didn't finish setting up your payment details or need to edit your payment details. You can do that on the main referrers page under Manage your Payments

We answer the most frequently asked questions by our advertisers and brands about the Referral program below, including the payment schedule, Tipalti details, and more.

When will I be paid?

You will receive your referral commission on monthly net 30 on the last Friday of the month. Payments will only be issued as long as all parties involved are in good standing with Squaredance and the campaign advertiser has paid their balances owed to Squaredance.

What is the minimum amount required to be paid?

Your referral commission must exceed $1,000 USD threshold to receive a payment into your account.

What is a new organization?

An entity or organization that was referred to the Squaredance platform with no prior history with Squaredance and its programs.

Where can I see my payment history?

To view the payments provided by the referral program. You can access them directly from the main referrers page and select ”view payment history”.

When do I need to submit my payment information through the Squaredance platform to be eligible for payment?

All payees who have supplied their payment information prior to the last Friday, net 30 payment timeline and have an account balance over the $1,000 USD threshold are eligible for payment.

What methods of payment are available through Tipalti?

Methods of payment include wire, ACH, PayPal, and eCheck (electronic transfer in your local currency. The methods offered to you may vary depending on your bank’s location. If you’ve chosen to be paid via PayPal, please ensure that your PayPal account is set up to receive vendor payments.

What do I do if my bank is located in a different country than my beneficiary address?

If your bank is located in a different country than your beneficiary address, click “Select to be paid in a different country than above” after providing your beneficiary information and before proceeding to the second page of the Enter Your Information form. You can re-do this action by selecting ”edit payment details” from the referrals homepage.

What payer name will appear on the remittance information when we receive payments from Squaredance?

Depending on your bank’s location and the payment method you’ve chosen, the payment you receive will be sent from one of the following names:

  • Squaredance
  • Tipalti Inc.
  • Tipalti Payments Inc.
  • Galactic Propellor Holdings Ltd.

How long will it take for payments to transfer?

The majority of payments reach our partners on the same business day, but depending on your bank and chosen method of payment, a transfer can take up to five full business days. If it has been over five business days and a payment we issued to you hasn’t landed in your account, please reach out to ap@squaredance.io.

I have multiple accounts with Squaredance, can I combine payments?

At this time, we are unable to amalgamate payments across multiple accounts, even if the accounts share the same banking information. Payments are issued separately for each unique Squaredance account.
